City View

Landscape pictures of the city. Most of them are taken in Southside. I wish I could've taken more there is so much going on in Southside and so many great areas where pictures could be taken.

Really liked this picture. The angle is what made me pick it as my favorite. I also like how it captures the essence of Southside. 

East End Basket Palumbo 

Clearly this photo did not turn out well. I took it on the firework setting of my camera which focuses  primarily on the light. The whole picture is basically yellow light and you can't see much of the picture. It looks kind of cool but wasn't what I was looking for in a picture.

Picture of Southside before I edited in LightRoom. The picture is rather grey and dull. I would like to make the buildings standout more.

Picture of Southside after I edited in LightRoom. I clarified it and made it more vibrant to bring out the color of buildings making them standout from the snow. The picture now looks less grey and more blue.

Went to the mens game and decided to try out my photography skills. Surprisingly enough learned alot about my camera even though I've had it for like three years now. Took most of my photos in the sports setting which allowed me to take multiple shots in a row. Kind of excited to continue learning what I can do with my camera.

First Post Ever

Making it through my first day of photography class.  First time I ever had a blog so this is all a little new to me. Just trying to figure this whole blogging thing out. I found this photo by Frazier who was inspired by Robert Frank and it reminded me of my best friend who always referred to herself as a princess. The second photo by Gavatorta was from when the Duquesne Women defeated 10th ranked Ohio State on their home court. I liked it because it represented team chemistry and the victory.
